Tessa, I buy one paper a week the Mail on Saturday only because it has the best TV section, the family come on Saturday so I read the paper on Sunday and find it the best Comic since I used to read the Dandy, I laugh all the way through, good medicine. I cannot stand Zoe only having watched on ITT once, I was sure they locked the audience in the green room with a barrel of Gin letting them out when the programme started. As to the comments on the Strictly Boards they seem to be written by people locked in a dark room feeling brave when in real life if a Goose said boo to them they would run a mile in a minute. I used to comment on the BBC board giving it up when I saw the vile things written about the people on the show. Utter stupidity by very small minded people. Frank.
They showed an old clip of Bruno from the very first series, when he was sitting on the far left of the judging panel. He was being very firm with the contestant, saying that there was no dance content. Aside from the fact that he looked so young, someone mentioned about the set, how different it used to be. He then said that the producers made the decision to move the judges around, and it had worked well ever since. They then carried on with the "quiz". For those of us old enough to remember, l found it fascinating how much it has changed, and I'm sure younger viewers would be interested in some of the history and highlights. I don't always watch ITT but was fed up with the news yesterday (!).
Steady @GWRS ! Enjoyed the interview with Joe McFadden, Harry Judd & Chris Hollins. Always liked Harry Judd. Thought Pasha looked very smart with his James Bond look
Okay l watched ITT again, the news coverage was driving me mad. The Nell de Jeunes section was dreadful, in fact l put the mute button on. And Englebert Humperdinck was a bit random.
Well, l always watch the final ITT. l think l must be getting old (or it could be the 2nd glass of wine), but l have found it to be pretty emotional tonight. This could be because each of the finalists have a story to tell. Joe, because of his attitude, Ashley because of the abuse she's had to face, and also the loss of her father, Fay because she has embraced and appreciated the whole thing, and Stacey because she epitomizes what Strictly is about. The support and encouragement of their professional partners makes me remember why l fell in love with it. Not sure when l will get to watch it, but l think it will be too close to call, to be honest l would be happy with any of them, and there haven't been many years when l could say that !

Frank.
I agree about the things people post it's as if social media removes any norms for polite and considered behaviour.
