Worrying times Pat ☹️  Hope he can do some good, and gets home safely very soon.  Your weather, our weather, in fact the whole world’s weather has been crazy mad this year.  Unfortunately I think we are just going to start to get used to climatic chaos.  Depressing, but true.  It’d make me slightly more optimistic if I could see Govts getting serious about carbon reduction, but the last two years seem to have gone backwards.

    Morning all. Hugs for Pat.
It's been raining here since about 1am. Nice steady rain with no wind, perfect.
Coal face duties in the rain = no fun whatseover, but hey ho.

On a more trivial, but happier note, I really enjoyed the Bircher muesli that our hotel had on the breakfast buffet when we were on hols, so Mr C bought me some from the SM.  Soaked overnight in apple juice and yoghurt ......truly yummy 😋

I love Bircher muesli ... it’s my ‘regular’ breakfast 😋

Thanks for your thoughts all. Hubby had trouble getting a team together so not  tonight, but maybe Friday night they’ll go out.
I must have missed about your son’s cat Dove. Thinking of him and sending positive thoughts.
Must have a read back later. 🤭

Thinking of you, Pat. It must be very stressful.

Woke in the early hours with the beginnings of a migraine. The drugs took a while to take effect so I'm feeling a bit wiped out, but hope to get a bit of va-va-voom back before heading off to a wedding later. I bought books in the end - found while I was looking for voucher ideas! Perhaps not a traditional wedding present, but she is a librarian and I think these will suit... hope so anyway.

Thanks for the nice comments about the concert snippet. I didn't actually expect anyone to look at it! Am a bit proud :-).

The clouds are looking ever more ominous. Tunderstorms predicted. Not sure what to wear!

LG, hope the migraine goes soon and that it doesn’t spoil your time at the wedding.
