Yes Dove not going to be much fun in this weather luckily people are posh so serving food in the orangery. Not sure what that is but it sounds lovely doesn't it? BBQ will be outside though, we have an awning!

Very posh debs! Get you - 'in the orangery'   :D
What a shame the weather isn't more favourable for you. I don't envy you though - running about after people.
AuntyR - I realised I was a bit late posting yesterday re the paint. I must have been sending 'vibes'  :D
Dampish here - not as wet as it's been, but I think it's to get heavier. Bit chilly. Still only just into double figures.
Think Hosta needs waterproof trousers. Always a mistake to have the jacket only  ;)
Also a mistake to put some B,F &B on the little bed I created along the front hedge for bulbs and primulas, when the fox is still around. D'oh. Hope he enjoyed it. Been out with the brush....
My new heuchera [Solar Eclipse] which I divided, and took a few bits off and potted, is looking very happy in it's new home on the back fence. It's had a nice watering in.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Torrential here .....wish I had an orangerie to sit in 😁.  Think it will be a sitting around, reading books and magazines sort of day.  Bit of a treat 📚📚☕️

Off to google solar eclipses of the heuchera kind 😉

Orangery = big conservatory ostensibly for growing citrus  B)  Very useful for entertaining the hoi polloi without having to actually invite them into your home.  ;)

Oh - I must get one of those Dove. Very useful  ;)
It's a nice Heuchera chicky - I've had my eye on it for a while. Just the thing to brighten up a shady spot. If you want a bit, let me know. I'm hoping the little bits I pulled off will take as well as all the other heucheras do!  :)
