Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hazel - I thought I was in some parallel universe for a while too! The sky has brightened so I think I'll drag my body out and do something. These holidays are a pain....such hard work Mrs Hog has visited last night. Worse than the children...

Careful with that shoulder FG. Love pea and ham soup Pat but not just now thanks. Maybe in 4 or 5 months time.
Hope your move is going well Busy.
35th anniversary today but nothing special today other than getting grubby in the garden but we're off on a boat cruise with lunch in the Marais Poitevin tomorrow. Came down to find a healthy looking lagerstroemia Indica Rouge Corail which is an appropriate colour and should have great autumn colours too. Clever OH cos it was on my list.
