I heard a small rumble of thunder a couple of hours ago but that was it. It doesn't even feel like it might rain :(. @Fire, nudge it over a bit, please!

I have put my fan on the windowsill. :)

But Accuweather is saying that the wind is coming from the South East. It's a shame it didn't fall on you first, @LG . I'm not sure my little fan will help much. I could put arrows on the roof.

I 've got an ad for heat pumps that will keep me warm at -40° . Well, that's good news
Now if they had a rain pump, that would be a different matter
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Thank you, Fire, I appreciate your efforts. My daughter has just got back from a rehearsal in SE1 (ie not very bloomin' far at all, really) and they had a thunderstorm there! I am feeling most put out.

The beeb say that there might be downpours around for the next couple of weeks, so hopefully you will get hit at some point.

We had an hour or 2 of rain 3 weeks ago tomorrow and that's all we've had since mid May.

I would happily have had some of your rain Daisy33, between Heathrow and Windsor and not a drop! These really are localised downpours aren't they?
