    No prospects of rain here.

Mm well it is raining here. Not so that the rain actually reaches the ground but there is a slight dampness in the air.

Did you see the moors this afternoon, absolutely black and you could see they must have had rain.

Still no rain here inspite of the 80% probability.

I know it's stupid, but I've checked more than one weather app just in case they have better news -how sad is that??

You could become a hillwalker B3. We all check around three or four hill forecasts, believe the best one, and take every bit of kit with us anyway   :dizzy:
Showers are exactly that - showers. Some will get them, many won't. Such is the way of it.  :)

Perhaps we all need to go out and do a rain dance at midnight to encourage the rain.

I'm sure I'm getting a faint whiff of rain outside. Makes a change from smoke anyway.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Back in '76  they appointed a minister for drought. It rained within a few days, but he's probably dead now whoever he was.  :(

I remember that, we were living in London and they put the stand pipes at the end of the roads, we never used them as it pee’d down as soon as they did it!
