Yes, this is what he talks about in the video - a 'col' (never heard of it before). I use the BBC for a general idea day to day, but it's good to look at the Met Office too.

It's certainly a lot cooler here.  I'm hoping it rains.

It seems my best shot is 34% so not very optimistic  :/  But this thread made me remember how untidy I've been, just downing tools when it got too hot 'cos they were fine outdoors! Just been out and cleared them all up and dragged weed bags into the garage (daughter won't put them in her car if they're wet) so I'd better get some rain!!!!

I wish but they don't forecast any rain for here.

According to this : https://en.sat24.com/en/forecast/h/1965266/birmingham we have an 80% chance of rain at 19:00 that could last for 6 hours.

    Fingers crossed!

Some parts of London get deluged while others get not a drop. I hope some rain lands on our corner. I too have left everything out in the garden and have had all the windows open since early May. Forgetting to close up is an easy way to flood the loft.

Metcheck show a 65% chance of rain  here tomorrow for an hour - whole 0.01mm. I can't decide what to do with it all.

The downpours they were forecasting for us @Lyn, have now been moved to East Devon and Somerset/Dorset.

We had 7 hours of steady rain last night... bliss!  The first since early June.   :)
I reckon we were really lucky, as the next town up the valley (four miles away) seems to have had very little.

Met office forecast suggests it might rain again tonight...   :D

This is exactly what it was like living in Southern Spain on the edge of the desert!  Everyone longing for rain, and moaning if it missed them! How glad am I to be back in the UK!😁😁
