Thoughts on yellow courgettes

    That would be good as greenhouse is still full of unripe tom's. The OH thought I should show you the monster Black Russians on one each of a tom leaf and potato leaf plant yet to ripen as we were talking about big fruit. The hose is there for size comparison 😀

    Great ... love those big ones ... they're going to ripen soon ... one of my favourites is Anya Russian ... it's a sprawling meandering sort of a tomato plant that needs loads of support, but the big ox-heart shaped tomatoes are full of sweet flavour with a slightly citrus tang.  Haven't grown any this year ... if I'd known it was going to be such a good year for tomatoes I'd have got some more seed.  

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
