Morning all I've just spent an hour watering the terrace before it gets too hot. Monday's weather forecast now has "40% chance of rain" @Obelixx says "Roll on the 16th! Football over - check! Tennis over - check! No more grunting. Thank goodness the Beeb isn't doing the Tour de France!" I couldn't agree more. On a brighter note:
I must say say I like reading about the care you all give to yourvwildlife. Compared to the rednecks who live around us who shoot anything that moves, it’s a relief to find therecare caring people still around.
As the media often suggest the Scots should support their neighbours England in sporting events , no doubt the English will now be wholeheartedly behind their near neighbours France tomorrow?
Good morning all . A glorious morning after a few cloudy ones. Surprisingly we didn't get around to applying the nematodes as we were watching the tennis ... I can't do it on my own as it involves the forbidden activity of clambering around on the Shady Bank. OH will help me tomorrow as he won't be working then. A supper of Asian sticky spiced short beef ribs will chunter in the slow cooker today and well have them this evening with Swiss chard and noodles ... hardly any cooking so plenty of time for watering and tennis

Glenys, glad you got the rain. I’m jealous. Sounds as though your Hubbys ribs are healing. Very painful.
