I thought they took the 4 healthiest first.   Quite and undertaking if you're healthy, let alone below par and this way everyone gets a whole night's rest and more food and oxygen before trying again.

Just had Nigella's lamb belly/ribs with cumin, nigella and garlic and yummy it was too, served with home grown baby courgettes and cime di rapa and a fougère.

Still very warm here but not sweaty.  OH did not get a hole in one today so didn't come home with a brand new Peugeot.   That's OK.  Not a car I'd buy anyway.   There's something about Peugeot drivers here that means they don't need a single track road to do daft stuff.

A team of 90 people, 50  international cave divers and 40 Thai navy divers, to get them out. I have cave dived, through a cavern and a tight swim through into Thundercliff cave on Christmas Island. The cave diver rescuers  would laugh at me. The cavern (overhead environment but able to see the exit. The cave, after marvelling at stalactites and stalagmites was somewhat claustrophobic, 50 yards in. I was distinctly uncomfortable, even with 1500 hours experience of being underwater.  I cannot under any circumstance consider going 2 miles into the mountain.  They say there are divers, then there are  cave divers with nerves of steel, and triple redundancy. Very dangerous, I salute every one of them.

And using it for a publicity stint.   I really do think it's a cheap stunt on the part of FIFA but then, these boys are, supposedly, footballers.  None of the divers there is seeking publicity, recognition or anything else other than offering their expertise to help save those boys.   Admirable.

    Curmudgeon thread anyone?

Having had a number of run ins at airport checkin with excess diving baggage, I wonder how they did? I'm going to Thailand. I have 80kg excess baggage. If I was on checkin , I would have upgraded them to first class.

I hope they get the others out soon.

Has anyone noticed that when you overtake someone who is driving well below the limit on a dual carriageway they accelerate?

We went to a garden party last night and to friends for a glass of wine this evening.

I've bought some furniture in the sales and got an extra 10% off.
