    Good morning all  :)
Hope Wonky is still snug as a bug in a rug ... hope your bumps and bruises are mending now ((hugs))
much cooler here now and thankfully the strong gusts of wind appear to have dropped.
We had our first runner beans last night ... very yummy indeed  :)

Morning Dove/afties Pat if you're there.
We need one more to flag Mr Oregon's spam....
Oh Wonks - what are you like! Hope your pains ease soon - you  must have had 'three' by now so you should be safe for a while  ;)
Wind and rain had stopped by the time I went to bed - although I'd fallen asleep on the settee and didn't get to bed till 2am. The gusts were in the forties, so I don't know if there's been any damage around here. Rain, high winds and 10 degrees - back to our normal Scottish summer weather then  :D
Hope you haven't had any either Dove - there's more coming in from the south later here - think Hosta will be getting rocked around in his van if he's out today.

    Morning all.
Well, it's been pretty wild here all night long.
@Fairygirl, I'll be out and about all day today. One of the 1-9pm drivers is off so I think I'm covering his shift after i finish my own so it could be a very long day for me.
    I hope you've had a good rest @WonkyWomble.
I've tried looking through binoculars at the lake , but I can't make out if it's any different. Once the 3 storm drains start running, it should fill up pretty quickly . (I hope)

Take it steady out there @Hostafan1 ... any trees down?  there were a few down up this way yesterday.
Keep your hatches well battened @Fairygirl

No trees down as far as I can see, but my sweet pea tee pees are a bit Wonky.

It's calm just now Dove - but more coming later. The garden has recovered it's green-ness a bit now  :)
The oak leaf hydrangea in the front garden has some nice flowerheads on it, and a few are starting to open. It's a lovely shrub, but not many people seem to grow it.
Have you got your waders packed for the rain Hosta - just in case you get stuck somewhere?  ;)
I'm just 'semi watching' [ie- on in the background]  G'sW while doing this - I've just heard that bit you mentioned about the liatris. Very odd.

Am I late, or are you all early today? Usually I’m waiting to see if anyone has started posting.
Wonky, what a day you had. I think it’s time you had a change of luck. 😏
The wind here has been horrendous all day. We had 1 mm rain overnight.🙄

Hi Pat - looks like you could do with some of the rain we had yesterday!
Lovely for the Welsh chap in the Tour isn't it?

    It's not " odd " it's totally untrue.
