@Hostafan1 I think it's staying north of the Bristol Channel. Wild Edges may be getting be getting some instead. Metcheck are still saying 100% but 'rain' in their model is just precipitation from the clouds - it often doesn't actually reach the ground.

The Met Office's forecast for Norfolk is

    " Between 14:00 Fri 20th and 23:59 Fri 20th

Most places will be dry but there is the potential for slow-moving thundery downpours in places..."

Hmmm, Norwich has two rivers that met in the city centre ... it often seems to attract thunderstorms that linger around the confluence ... we might be lucky ...

    I use BBC

    and weather channel.

Usually somewhere between the two seems to be accurate for us, MOST of the time.

OH used to sell loose frozen ones in the farm shop ... they'd not been prepped in any way.  I'm just going to freeze any surplus loose as I do raspberries, and then bag them up.

Is anyone else feeling sort of parched all over? Not thirsty, not sunburnt, just parched? I can't quite describe it but it's different to other heatwaves I've experienced here, or holiday weather abroad. Heatwaves here (esp in London) are usually very sticky, humid affairs, and we've certainly had some very sticky, humid days in the last couple of months. But most days have just been really, really dry. And I've experienced dry heat in other countries - but never for longer than two weeks. It's not just my skin; I feel dessicated. Maybe I'm just coming out in sympathy with my plants!

In a bad, sad mood today. I'll try not to take it out on you lot.

I’ve put blueberries in containers in the freezer and hand them out to my grandson to eat like little ice blocks. Not bad either.
