Snap Hosta....mane taming here this morning too.

Littlest chicklet retrieved safely - she had a great time - loved Chester

Hope Bow has a fantastic time LG - what an opportunity for her.  As you say, she will survive it on adrenalin ....be ready to pick up the pieces/face the consequences when she gets home 😱......but then thats what families are for 😀

Oh LG - your garlic  :/ I don't grow it, but perhaps you could just bring it in somewhere airy to dry it off?
Hosta - that's a great sky. Ours looked great last night - that leaden band of thunder filled clouds, with a lighter band below. Flashes oflightning and torrents of rain. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it - we don't get a lot of them.
Glad you got a good kip. I lost interest with G'sW after about twenty minutes. Maybe it's just me. Not sure why they do the 'visiting gardener' thingy, although he was a much nicer invitee than that God awful wumman the last time. I forget her name but she did a show with Diarmuid and was unbearable most of the time.

    Great pic Pat  :)

Well we did get some rain. I managed to wring one 10litre can full out of one water butt that had been empty. That's it. Having said that it has just lashed down again for about 2 minutes, so maybe another 10litres if I'm lucky. Ho hum.

Glad your headache has gone Pat. I hate a lot of noise especially a room full of yacking people.

It was dry earlier this morning but more heavy rain now. No complaints as I wont have to water plants for a good while.

@Hostafan1 that's an unheard of amount of sleep  :dizzy:

Yesterday we were down to 1/3 of a butt  of water left ... now we have 1 1/2 butts full ... the blueberries will live to fruit another season  :)  we're still getting short drizzly showers ... don't know if that's all we're getting or if there's more coming ... the sky's blue in the west ...

I’m glad that sme of you are getting some rain at last. There was even something on the news tonight about your lack if rain.

I've just had a walk round the garden and I'd have to say we didn't get much rain. Lots of buckets/ wheelbarrow with just a dribble of water in them. Hey ho. More to come hopefully.
