Your tales of dry gardens and yellow grass sound quite normal to me.😏 we almost never have green grass except reeds down on the river.

On the weather channel they showed footage of flooding in Japan. They had more than 1000 mm of rain in 3 days!  We only get half that in a year (if we’re lucky). 😒

Morning Hosta - afties  Pat. I couldn't sleep either.
Arm's sore so I'm having a cuppa and painkillers. Yum  :dizzy:
Hope you're not too chilly today Pat.

I haven’t been outside at all today. Sitting inside stripping lavender head from dried stems. Hubby is at the fire shed learning some new techniques I on fire fighting.
Hello to you too Fairy. Sorry you are both having sleep problems. I must admit my sleep has been disturbed by the plight of those kids trapped in the cave. Not a good news item for a claustrobobe. 😡

It's a truly horrible situation Pat. I don't what they'll do to get them out - it doesn't seem simple no matter which option they choose. I don't envy any of them with the decisions they need to make. Terrifying. Poor souls.

Morning @Fairygirl I hope the pain is easing. Are you heading for the hills this weekend?

On a positive note: South West Water have said " there is no prospect of a hosepipe ban as reservoirs are still over 80% full"

That's good about your water Hosta. I think it's the same here. Hoping to walk tomorrow - it's to be cooler. It's about 12 here just now, and to be the same tomorrow but a little more cloud. Much better for 'ascending'  ;)
I go back to the hospital at the end of the month, and hopefully will be referred to a specialist to  see about getting the op done. It's a pain [no pun intended] but has to be done.
