I followed the advice here and hung out washing yesterday then went out. It did rain, on me in Tesco's car park. Not a drop on my washing. I was thinking of resorting to buying OH some flip-flops, but if your sunhat hasn't worked, B3, it may be a waste of money  :(

I usually get rained on in IKEA car park, but that would be a sacrifice too far.

IKEA always have interesting house plants though and they keep them right at the end as an incentive to the gardeners being dragged around to look at endless flatpack crap.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Could someone else visit an Ikea car park with an umbrella, sun hat, flip flops and hang out for a while, looking nonchalant? Does anyone have an Ikea to hand? A B3-by-proxy?

Maybe we could try browsing their website instead? Do the rain gods know the difference?

My brother is well known in the Suffolk farming community for causing torrential rain at harvest time by holding a BBQ .......... he had one the weekend before last but it didn't work ........ and now he's gone to Corfu  :/

NB, what form would this sacrifice take? And would it be a genuine sacrifice?
Joyce, it might be enough to just lurk in the car park.
