Excellent idea Fire! Now all I need to do is find a chain of people on the forum who will be willing to stand in their gardens waving their arms about, just a minute, that's what I do when I see the pigeons! I'm doomed.

The beacons are lit! Herbaceous calls for aid!
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I've been batting away spiders' webs like a mad woman so god knows what semaphore messages I have been sending to the overhead drones. Can I have a drone moan? I live near a park, they hover over my head. [Cue fantasy air rifle day dreams. Again].

Thank you Wild Edges! Want to hear the BT resolution? Wait four hours and try again! I'm guessing they have a shift change in the meanwhile and all those online chatline people hope to have gone home.

Ok, let's get going, I love a good bonfire. First beacon will be constructed at BT HQ, follow me lads and ladies.........

Oh Fire, this may help except I'm a rubbish 'engineer' type. Husband used to fly planes etc. at Hanworth I think (near a Job's dairy anyway and next to a main road) one day plane disappeared only to be found smashed in the dairy car park. Someone else on the same frequency.

    Maybe try a jammer?

I find BT products good but their customer service horrendous. When moving in to my current house I had to wait two months for them to put in internet. Before smart phones, during chemo. Two months? As scheduled (no SNAFUs) - from one of the UK's biggest providers?  It's shocking.

Thank you Lyn, I'm not surprised Fire (which is a bit of an indictment in itself eh?) and I can't believe how they have turned me into an enraged, fuming, complaining curmudgeon in one morning! This is not me. I need a cup of tea before I go set that beacon.

Can I come and retrieve some to post to BT?
You might need a syringe...
