If I am turning into anyone, it's my dad. He's a handsome bloke, but still, hardly what a teenage girl would have imagined middle age would be like.
I shouldn't knock it though. I use sunscreen religiously - it makes a big difference. I also have dark skin, and high melanin levels helps with skin ageing/sun. After having cancer I am much stricter about certain things. Sunscreen is one.
My take on failing eyesight as I get older is that it is God's way of stopping me fretting over wrinkles and cobwebs. Win win really until you bend down with bare hands to pick up what looks like a raisin off the kitchen floor to realise as you get closer that it is the remnants of a cat-attacked giant spider!!

It has occurred to me that my vegetables are not very vegan. I would like to find a way of killing weeds with minimal harm to other creatures, having big spiky marsh grass in the middle of the drive is no fun. I find it frustrating that weed killers and therefore perfectly tidy paving are the norm though.
Apparently, according to some, plants including vegetables are sentient. If you just eat the seeds, you are eating their babies. Your body is a war zone. Things killing things and that's without considering antibiotics. Even Janes' bodies are killing things all the time
