"Have I missed an opportunity to be offended?"

No, I was just being grumpy about my neighbourhood. I love knowing lots of people in the area, there were just some rather painful incidents. "Not listening to the gossip is 100% the best way". Absolutely. I am learn a whole new set of Ignoring life skills. It's all healthy, really.

It sounds so minor, somehow, to have hot flushes, like it wouldn't be that hard to adapt, but I found it so hard to function.
If it were men that had them they would have a much more serious and dramatic name.

:D Brilliant. I might have to put that on the wall. It's hard living right next to bullies, but I guess so many of us do have a LND.

I always thought that if we could connect us up to a generator we could power the UK. If you can power a mobile phone from a woodstove, surely all our personal heat should be used to light our houses, at least. But then I have always thought that about gyms - a pure waste of kinetic energy - so easy to hook up to run the building.

I've often thought that if men had to have smear tests they'd have found a reliable blood test by now. They'd be working much harder on a cure for 'power surges' too, no doubt

Look, us men are far too busy starting wars, to worry about such trivia :)
