    The quality of mercy is not strain’d,
            It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
    Upon the place beneath: it is twice blest;
           It blesseth him that gives and him that takes

    Smile, smile, smile,
             On thy cold grey keys, oh P!
    I would that my tongue could utter
             The thoughts that arise in me.

    True hearts have eyes and ears, no tongues to speak;
          They hear and see, and sigh, and then they break.

    Peanut butter and jam sandwiches. Discuss.
    That's never really appealed to me and sounds very American, but I do make a banana and nutella milkshake after I've been for a run. I think that's health food.

    Fire, if it's heated controversy you're after, which way round should a toilet roll be fitted?  With the free end towards the user, or away?  A fairly modern dilemma, since the horrid old crackly stuff mostly came in flat packs.  Do you suppose our grandparents argued over the right size and shape for the newspaper, and whether it should be cut or torn?  Or we could debate seat up or down.

    Showing your age jos  ;)  you should always tear newspaper, paper cuts otherwise!

    Free end away from wall, toilet lid always down (soft-close toilet lids are a sign of civilisation at its peak. Discuss).
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Outwards with no hyacinth bucket pointy fold
    Down saves serious injury when going in the dark!
    Anyway,why do men  need to lift the seat to pee? Surely the hole in the seat is big enough to aim through??
