Fire, if it's heated controversy you're after, which way round should a toilet roll be fitted? With the free end towards the user, or away? A fairly modern dilemma, since the horrid old crackly stuff mostly came in flat packs. Do you suppose our grandparents argued over the right size and shape for the newspaper, and whether it should be cut or torn? Or we could debate seat up or down.
