‘Let’s be clear..’ Those 3 words make me want to punch every freakin politician who says it. It’s like listening to robots! I swear to the gods it’s becoming ridiculous!

I don't like jam or peanut butter but I do like a sandwich.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • I think I've got an infestation of cats in my brassica bed. There's lots of little holes in the leaves and some of the plants simply won't recover. I've tried waving a table tennis bat covered in grease over them in the hope that the cats will jump up with surprise and get stuck to the bat, but as none of them did I now just try and hit the cats over the head with the table tennis bat. I've resorted to regularly hoeing and spraying with water, but was wondering how long it would be until all the cats had gone.

I may have substituted the word cat for flea beetle as I got no responses when I asked about the latter.

Finster, why would you let a donkey order your wine? Surely carrots are more within their remit.
    No wonder you're arsed!
