It's 34C out there so dogs have not been walked.  Way too hot and no water in the lanes.  Instead they've had a romp while I harvested the garlic and laid it on a net rack to dry.  Mad as hatters the pair of them.

I've also done lots of watering - got stung in the neck by a bee when diving under the wisteria flowers to get to the camellia - as well as potting on 3 asparagus and a clematis Maxima and planting out a deep red flowered persicaria.  Filthy again now and need another shower.

I trust the Chicklets will enjoy Sydney.  Very good fish and chips in Manley should they manage to take the ferry across the harbour.  Well worth it for the views.

Glenys - hope OH is fit to enjoy the wedding.

Ouch for the bee too I think.  I get so many bites from assorted flies I have anti-histamine ointment on hand.  Very good on this occasion.

Ps Obelixx and Chicky - Manly doesn’t have an “e”. It was named after early whites described the build of aboriginals over there as being “Manly”. 😄

Im glad Chicklet has enjoyed her year so much. I rather like if here as well. 😁

    night all.

    Morning all.
We have rain, heavy, even very heavy rain. I hope we get a lot more although delivering might not be much fun.
To-day I am the same age my Father was the day he died. Doesn't seem so old now. To be fair, he hated me and I was terrified of him.
I have a horse fly bit between my cheeks!! yes, the cheeky cheeks!! :'(

That’s sad Hosta. I had the same memory when I had my birthday recently because my Mother died at this age.  Happy birthday to you.

@Pat, I am to day, 55 and 6 months old, the same age he was the day he died.
Sorry if I didn't make that clear.
