    Morning all.
Were you covered in mud from the garden, punkdoc?  ;)

We are off to Norfolk today for a few days, but first I must plant a helenium Ruby Tuesday. Poor thing has sat outside in a pot all winter.
Wonky, new cottage is only 10 mins from old cottage, bit nearer Diss.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning people/afties Pat if you're about.
Sky is clearing so I'm off to Glen Etive to see how far up Stob Dubh I can get.
doc - hope you're cleaned up now.... ;)
Hope it all goes well BL. Hard work ahead, but all worth it for you eventually  :)
Nice to see some ospreys TBG - it's taken a while to get them re-established in many areas.

Have a good day everyone - whatever you're up to   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Lovely to hear that you like Utrecht.
Take care while cycling today though, because it's going to be a scorcher!
Hope you like the flower market, and the stalls with cut flowers along the Oudegracht, which make an incredibly coulorful display!
    Have a great day!

Morning all. It's been a hard week at work - my brain is hit capacity and all this weekend will involve is RESTING.

And chores. Many chores. Two dogs in the house seems to create six times the dust. How does that even work? Our guest dog just sleeps and eats!

As posted on another thread I can't believe last November I was still eating tomatoes. I think I've overdosed on them.

Chicky, in case you need a few other suggestions to fill some time in this hot weather after the cycling...

Or a bit outside of the city...

I've never been to this one, so I have no idea what it's like, but it was designed by Piet Oudolf

I think you've brought Hosta's favorite weather with you!

A very grey day yesterday with a fair sprinkling of wet stuff - wet air rather than rain tho - so fine for planting the last of the toms in the greenhouse and cleaning and shopping for Possum's arrival.   Two ecstatic dogs and one very soppy Cosmos all over her.   Minstrel has more dignity and took advantage to have extra cuddles with me.

Gardening today - measuring up for more rusty trellis bits and, maybe, some more planting if I can get him away from golf on TV long enough to fork over the other bed I'm planning along the ruin.

I hope you get sunshine for your stay in Norfolk Busy and you too for restful weekend Clari.   In fact, may the sun shine on you all and the rain in Devon and Cornwall be of short duration.    Enjoy Utrecht Chicky.   Good to see you so happy and upbeat DD.  Pdoc - old or young, garden dirty is good.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Clarington, I know what you mean my head is mushed too, I work in pharmacy and unfortunately customers can't seem to grasp what 48 hours means!, they order there script then expect it to be at the pharmacy ready bagged up the next day, out of the thousands of scripts you do daily, unfortunately this a daily battle!, right I feel better now I've got that off my chest 😁.
I'm cutting my lawn and tidying up my garden after the house chores 🤗
