Morning all, busy week end, managed to get to the flower show, beautiful, but freezing and poured down the whole time, so sad. Only bought a few annual fillers for the garden, too wet to even look a the bigger plants, the thought of walking around with a soaking wet large shrub just didn't appeal.
Sunday, my farmer friend delivered my manure! Wonderful, although the 3 hour transfer from drive to bottom flowerbed wasn't quite so much fun. Very happy though, plants arriving from UK as a car load on the 22nd. Should be well dug in by then. Raining all day today again though.

Hi Clari, I though of you yesterday morning. I delivered to a ( Victorian? Georgian? )house between shops on a High Street. The owner opened the door in his dressing gown. There was a 1m deep trech running from the front door all the way to the back of the house. I could see through the ceiling and the floorboards to the ceiling on the first floor and there was no plaster on any of the walls. Sound familiar?
