  • I was making a cuppa at the time, but I thought I heard Frances from GW saying she had a plot. If so, I'll be interested to see what she comes up with. I usually enjoy her segments on GW, very knowledgeable.

Turned sound off to avoid background music, switched channels to avoid cringe-inducing Z listers'. There wasn't much to see apart from that. The gardens I saw looked like Chelsea flower show gardens.  The celebs looked like people who needed to be seen at Chelsea flower show.
As a member of rhs, I wish there was a show for real gardeners.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I'm with you on that B3.
My daughter phoned just as coverage was starting, so I put TV on mute with subtitles. Enjoyed the flowers, gardens much as usual, missed all the gushing commentary. Recommended!

Well, they do a bit, but you have to balance that with the comedy value when they get things totally wrong!

I loved the Yorkshire garden. Also loved Chris Beardshaw  :)
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Chris Beardshaw, could make me depart, from the straight and narrow. :)
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team
