The rose reminds me of a peony   which  has just bloomed for me. I would name this rose
    "  Peach Sorbet Melt " .    ;)
Hi grandma,..just smiling here to myself,..ah yes a very nice name for that rose,..wait a spell to see will it remain as it appeared above,..now look at it as it appeared with its blooms of today.

The complete bush,..with the exception of the two roses on the extreme left,..that is another bush.

Ok lol,..i know when i am beaten,..and so its Rose ( Rosa 'Peach Sorbet Melt'.)
  • My Arum Lily located beside the greenhouse has produced three blooms.

Approx 40 spikes to bloom from the Delphiniums,..notice how its the Dark colored Delphinium,..'Blue Bird',..that flowers way before the lighter blue,..with the exception of the Dwarf bloom.

Now and then one has a very different reaction from a flower other than what is the norm,..i had Antirrhinum majus 'Snapdragon',..in the garden two years ago,..last year one appeared and i took it up and potted it leaving it beside the back door,..it never stopped blooming through the winter,..its now back in the garden and blooming like mad among the Delphiniums,..i do remove their foliage to help it get sunshine.

  • My first Lily to bloom so far this season,..i have a list of names for all of them,..sadly i can not find the list.

We had a very strong wind which went through the night howling and hissing,..i did think i would see all the Delphiniums flattened,..they were more resilient than thought,..no damage at all,..apart from the one Dwarf they are all over 7Ft now.

The lighter blue Delphiniums are just beginning to bloom.

View from near the back of the garden.
Phygelius Funfare Orange 'Cape Fuchsia',..really coming into play.

View from half way up the opposite end
,..i did have to cut back some blooms as the pathway was very narrow.

  • Some of the blooms from May 2018.

Lovely pics again,I like the geranium, which one is that?I really hate my Mrs Kendal Clarke, and she needs replacing with something more vibrant! Next year I will put it in the lane outside,as it looks wild.
Foxy looks relaxed after her walk!
