Oh dear, poor Aliums! I think a lot of things are going to get flattened by tomorrow. We have heavy thunderstorms forecast for tonight and tomorrow,in fact

My last post didn't!!! Lovely pics, with not a soul in sight! We walked for an hour and a half yesterday by our river, very different! Tumbling waterfalls most of the way, heavily wooded with so many wild plants.Wild geraniums and cotoneaster, which presumably the berries have been deposited by the birds?

that's a nice long walk and with a more interesting landscape than here,..its very flat here and the meadows in the pictures of late were under water from last October until March,..its like that every year so we are used to it.
Today as i was doggy walking i spotted a white flower about 60 yards ahead,..with only green grass it stuck out like a light.
Leucojum aestivum 'Summer Snowflake'.
This is a Native Wildflower,..a perennial,..and reaches approx 60 cm/2 Ft,..its my first time to come across one.
@Cagzo,..oh that's a shame,..could it be down to the bad winter,..though the plant i came across would be underwater for close to six months,..amazing how it survived,..i rescued some bulbs from the plant today.
On the doggy walk.
Cardamine bulbifera,..commonly known as Coralroot Bittercress.
Mentha aquatica 'Water Mint'.
Tourist season so lots of river traffic.
Not forgetting huge flocks of Mute Swans,..33 in the flock on the far bank.
The pics of your area are so beautiful,I have an old tablet my daughter gave me,which has no camera! I really should update myself! In the garden this afternoon and my Josephine clematis is covered in blooms, they are so intricate. Also the Daniel Daronda is in bloom, absolutely massive flowers,I do hope the rain forecast for tomorrow won't flatten them! May have to stand out there with the brolly over them!😁

@Cagzo,..lol you have to upgrade,..i use a 'Dell Dimension 5260 computer',..plus a Toshiba Laptop,..the latter is very heavy and it remains in the sittingroom whereas the computer dwells in the bedroom lol,..saves moving them around,..my camera is a small Canon which fits in my shirt pocket,..its not a bad little camera but nowhere as near as a Sony camera which i reversed over by mistake sigh,..i have had no luck replacing it in the sticks but might have more luck visiting the city.
The images below are taken in the park,..at 0700 in the morning.
At the far end of the park,..wilderness.
Geranium.
A very nice Aquilegia bloomed today,..i have never had this one in the garden before,..oh i must get out the spray as i see wee flies.
Really great photos Phillip! I can't believe there's never anyone else around.....what bliss! There's something nice about white flowers,I planted my favourite Lilly of the Valley and just one has appeared! Will I get more next year? My grandma had them all over the place in her garden, probably why I like them so much, happy childhood memories!😀😀
