Got away with it yesterday it seems, the rain didn't come till 4 pm here. Mixed cloudy with blue patches here so far. MUST get the ground loosened up again as the sun (if it comes) will bake it hard otherwise. Never happy are we.

Stockton NE. Sunshine wall to wall and warm 14C  B) My swathes of Daffodils are standing up like Guardsmen lapping up the sun. The garden will get a clean up today after the long winter, I have known worse although a long time back, the garden is looking like spring only it came late.

Dryish and not too cold here.  Still not cut my grass - it's barely started growing - but spring is coming slowly in this neck of the woods.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Oh Liriodendron - I do feel lucky - we have sunshine here again, warm and breezy - ideal really for this time of year.  Most of the daffodils have finished but some are still in bud (very late), the tulips are half and half too - some still not open, so a nice surprise awaiting there for us to enjoy.

Been a dreadful day here today ......strong winds and rain from early afternoon. ....a revisit from Storm Irene.  Good forecast from Wednesday for a few days.....something to look forward to.

Stockton NE. Very murky though dry at the moment definitely warmer 14-16C, I may have to garden in the nude? It all got a good clean up yesterday and this morning my Tulips are rows of colour, wonderfully heart warming.
Daughter in California saying they had sun snow hail and heavy rain plus they think a small earthquake yesterday, and we grumble about the weather??

  • Another beautiful day here.  It started off dry and quite windy (cold wind) but now the sun is warm, still windy but refreshing - we don't want to get too warm yet do we?
