Gale force wind, low dark cloud and heavy drizzle. Sunny Cornwall? Hah!

I did just manage to get my washing almost dry yesterday, almost waited for today but decided to chance it. Boy am I glad took a chance. Fortunately we are not supposed to have the heat wave which is on the way next week. One of the main reasons I moved to Cornwall was to get away from the extremes of temperatures in the Thames Valley. Blistering heat or bone chilling extended frosts.

  • It's been a dark, wet, dreary winter type day and I haven't set foot in the garden! Fed up!

Gorgeous here.  Sunshine, blue skies, warm.  OH is playing golf in shorts today.  I planted tomatoes out early this am before going out to a lunch and am about to go and check all is well in the polytunnel.  I will not need ski socks in my wellies today.

Glos - cold, windy and no gardening done. Spent this afternoon making a list of things that need to be done in the forecast brighter and warmer day (or two) to come.

Grey and wet today.  Better tomorrow, if the forecast is to be believed...

  • It's a perfect day - warm, sunny, virtually no wind - happy days!

Hot here too now.  Was going to go and sunbathe but then OH got his flaming unrestful strimmer out again so I went and pottered instead.
