Really heavy rain on and off here, which finished with a big thunderstorm and hailstones that have flattened everything in the garden.

After some hot and uncomfortable days, 33°, in Dordogne, we have had storms and lots of lovely rain in the night. Waterbutts filled, garden watered, cooler today.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

The Met Office says our minimum temp tonight will be 13.  It's currently 9!  Not sure I believe in single-figure temperatures...   ;)

Morning all light rain and light wind temp.15 to 21c

    Sunrise was 5.23

    Sunset 21.05
    Have a good day all.
  • Well I guess by the law of averages the weather people had to get it right eventually.

We do now have some rain sounds like we are getting a real deluge but actually if you go out it's quite light just seems worse due to the wind 22 km h, the temperature has gone down was 16.8 @ 07.00

We have 'proper' rain! The kind that falls sensibly and relentlessly. Not sure of the temp but I feel very comfortable so must be around 18-21C, best night's sleep for ages and feeling quite sparky  :)
