Got home from work to find that it had been raining!  Yessssssss!!! I wish I'd left a bucket or something out so I could see how much there was.
My weather station recorded a max temp. of 32.2 today (Doncaster)

GWRS, I work in Lincoln and we had a couple of heavy showers about mid-afternoon, plus evidence that there'd been rain at various places on my way home.  I guess you were unlucky (or lucky, depending on your viewpoint!!)
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

32C and mostly overcast. Perhaps showers overnight, which would help. We’ve only had the thundery downpour of a week ago since May.

I wish AuntyRach, feeling a bit cynical about the forecast these days. There are a few clouds here but the sun is shining again, its very hot again, I'm looking forward to a hot meal and no heat rash sometime in September.....................

@AuntyRach no, no rain at all.

There is a blue patch (supposedly rain) hovering over Windsor at 13:00 - we shall see.

  • Patchy sunshine humidity 64% and rising temperature 25c and rising rain is forecast but I don't hold out much hope.

So 13:00 came and went,  14:00 came and went, I understanding the word 'forecasting' but I was hoping for something at least!
