Our grass is usually the colour of cardboard at this time of year, but because we have had so many storms with torrential downpours it's still green. The countryside is looking very healthy at the moment. Our usual temps at this time of year are around 30.

  • According to my weather station it is 28 degrees outside but -20 degrees in the conservatory! Methinks it has become a little over-heated!
  • I think you are right Singing Gardener.Ā  Well over 30 degrees in our conservatory.Ā  Too hot to garden this afternoon, so I have been making the most of the shade of the trees, it is lovely and cool under the twisted willow with the sound of bird song all around me.
  • very warm measured 28.6c at the airfield weather station today at 13.00 the sun is shining with clear blue skies, slight inshore breeze down on the beach
