This was our 5th day of drizzle, the ground is really wet now quite deep down, the weeds have come on really well,it stopped about 2 hours ago,so had a quick weeding session before having to get dinner!
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
Dry. Again. No rain for weeks. The hallmark at the moment is the humidity level. The clouds often build up, but aren’t rain-bearing, and add to the humidity. The forecast is for temperatures in the high 20s next week.
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need. Cicero
Is it tomorrow AuntyRach - I thought it was over the w/end. I always try to go out on/by the beach, there is something eerie about the longest day. It's the druids that lived by the beach here that attract me!
It is tomorrow, June 21st. What I didn’t realise is that the ‘solstice’ is not at sunrise, but at the time when the sun shines on the tropic of cancer (11:07 this year).
It’s been scorching hot this week, but chillier and windy today. Still no rain though despite menacing clouds for the last few days. We’ve had about 3 hours rain on one night since early May. My lawn looks more like a beach 😩
Stockton N.E. shifting clouds, burst of sun then dull though quite warm. My Garden is in the England colours at the moment Blue Cranesbill, White iceberg Roses and Red Peony's, waving the flag. Frank.
What is my weather like? Still no sign of rain despite a lot of quite dark clouds and the odd storm about but nowhere near my garden. I can barely get a fork in the now dusty soil.
