Oddly enough Pentax is famous for its endoscopes as well as cameras. I have substantial experience of both and I know which I prefer!

Good to see you back Fairygirl, I was worried when I saw this last month -

Still at page 77. Thank you for the sciatica tips. Hurt too much on my knees, Dove so No. 2 was out! Done the others. Tried paracetamol and whisky in France, not strong enough, Joyce. Have codeine and aspirin now which saw me through the day. Now will catch up on the next pages.

Good luck, LilyP!  Being a granny made me appreciate what hard work it was, being a mum.  There's a good reason why we become parents when we are relatively young...

Glad you've made the decision, Punkdoc.  Hope you and Moira now feel at peace about it.

Well, I hope you don't spend the next 4 months thinking about the lovely procedure, Hosta...   ;)

Obelixx, that recipe would be most welcome, if you have a minute!

Caught up. Really pleased to see Fairygirl back, can't keep a good fairy down! What a painful time you've had, hope it's all well on the mend now.

I think that's a good decision Punk, need to enjoy life a bit and stop worrying about treatments and what they are doing to you.

Good luck with your rather unpleasant sounding investigation, Hosta.

OH got me some stronger painkillers from the village pharmacy and I went with him to Norwich. While he was in Specsavers I went to M&S and bought a pair of jeans and a couple of T shirts. There were loads of women around my age queuing for the changing rooms. Must have something to do with the sun coming out at last.

Then we went to Horning, on the Broads, and had a cream tea. It was a glorious day, got up to 24°, according to the car.

    Just finished the Dreamtime feed
Busy,  dil who is staying with us just now is a Physio, she has helped me many times and her best advice to you is to see a physio as soon as you can, painkillers are just masking the problem   I sympathise, I found an icepack helped.

    Morning all.
Where are you Joyce? Have you gone abroad???? It's grey and overcast here...quelle surprise!
Today I will be mostly sewing. Yes sewing. I'm "doing a thing" with a group of sewing pals and the days are going faster than I would like towards the deadline.  Everything in the garden is soaking wet and blown to bits so I'm ignoring it till it starts to behave a bit better.
    Enjoy your Thursday.

Good morning all  :) another gorgeous morning here  B)
LilyP ask your daughter if she's heard of Gregory Grieve ... he was a pioneer of manipulative physiotherapy and wrote some well known books on the subject. My family all have back problems and when I started to get pain my GP knew that GG lived nearby and recommended me to see him. A couple of sessions and some exercises and I was able to move without pain again. I referred myself back a couple of times and again I was sorted out before damage was done. Then he retired so I do the exercises to keep my spine as flexible as I can. I get problems elsewhere as you know, but my lower back is the best in my family.
    BL yes ... see a physio  :)

Morning everyone.😃 I’m glad your weather is warming up. Still no rain here, but I’ve managed to little jobs in the garden which helps to make it look a bit tidier. I’d like to get it all neat before winter sets in, so that I can enjoy it from the house.

Interesting about the physio, Dove. My mother’s family name was Grieve(S) and I’m sure some of them came from the north of UK. They added the “s” two generations ago here. I’d love to think it could be the same family that grew the James Grieve Apples.🙄
