Dove, you would have laughed if you had seen me last night! I was making a paper mashe volcano with my friends daughter for art/ science homework! Very impressive it is too! Poor friend was running round taking other kids to scouts and it had all been cancelled without telling parents! Decorating of volcano will be dine when glue is dry! I've been roped into that part too!

I wonder why they haven't covered its trunk, wonder what tree it is. Looks a good idea.

At last we get to see Dove's garden! imageExcept it's covered in snow! I hope it's melted by Thursday, but seems unlikely.

We are going to lunch with friends today.

You may be OK Busy.  The forecast here has changed and instead of snow we're to expect cloudy spells and 10C on Thursday.   Maybe the warm will spread inland enough to let you take off.  Not sure about landing at Stanstead tho.

I have had to rope in OH to cut up a pumpkin to roast for soup today.  Tough skin!  Other than that, the last batch of blood orange and chili marmalade to make and then sowing or sewing depending on how beastly the Beast still is.

Pdoc - take care.   Come back better - or at least not worse.  Slowly slowly.

Liri - good to have more cuddles.  LP - hope you get sun and warmth today.

Hosta and Womble - no skip diving here but we do go to organised events for recycling unwanted goodies and I've found a local website where people sell stuff cheap.  Sold my cooker that way for my plant fund.

I trust everyone is tucked up safe and warm or being careful.   Hope you get your trip to Liverpool Chicky.

    Morning all,

Great news Wonky, bit early for me re the bubbly, now a nice slice of celebratory cake might go down wellimage

Thinking of you Pdoc wherever you are.

Just a light dusting of snow this morning but it is bitterly cold.  Have been out and fed the birds, the pond is still running so water isn't an issue.  Popped to Ashwoods to pick up a bag of potting compost and a couple of seed trays.  I'll keep busy in the conservatory while the weather is so cold.

Off to visit mum this morning and then driving to Firstborn's this afternoon as I'm on school pick up duty, staying over and dropping off tomorrow morning.  I think I'll take some extra clother just in case I'm snowed in.  Hoping it misses us this time had enough of the white stuff this year.

Well done Wonky.  Cause for celebration indeed.  Hope it's the one you preferred but congrats either way.  Need a spare tissue Dove?
