  • Glad you survived the dancing, Obelixx - brave of you to try in the circumstances... sleep well!

Hosta, how deep is your water lily "pond"?  I'm interested in whether you're trying more tender species in your tunnel.

Wow, Wonky!  Hope there's something really interesting in that lot of "rubbish".  image

Steephill, hopefully you're now safely in the vicinity of Windsor... hope you both have a really memorable day tomorrow, and it's not too windy for polite deployment of the kilt...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

The day has slipped away without time to look here on my Laptop. Shopping this morning, lunch with OH at the Chinese, meeting this afternoon, 2 recorded episodes of "Requiem" on TV this evening.

Yes, Wonky, I've been to the auction house at Diss. I hope you enjoy it. Are you selling a treasure? Good luck.

Just LOVE Wellington Liri image  My kinda bear ?❤️

Glad your knees are not giving you too much trouble Obxx - hope they continue to improve today.

Just booked a weekend in Paris in May with my garden visiting friends - we’re going to Giverny image  Very excited ?

Have a wonderful day in Windsor Mr and Mrs Steephill - I do that Haslemere to Windsor commute every day, and never use the M25 - try coming home via Ascot and the M3 instead.  Will be in Windsor at lunchtime, so will keep an eye open for distinguished looking gardeners in kiltsimage

    Morning all.

How lovely, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, Chicky. We went last year, but later in the summer.

Morning Dove. I’m sort of looking in - visit from son at the moment, quick trip yesterday to Canberra to buy a new Ukelele for me, Volunteer day at the little gallery on Wednesday, Lavender bunching Tuesday, Ukelele group Monday. I don’t know how I’ve got time to be retired. image I might get time to have a little play with my beautiful new uke on Sunday with a bit of luck.

  • Morning forkers.

Dove I saw the snowboarding, my heart was in my mouth!

Did anyone else yell at the telly by accident? image I love the ski cross. They just keep skiing till they can no longer stand up. Their thighs must be on fire!

Obes I hope you aren't feeling any ill effects after your face-plant. I went a cropper over a bramble last week and went down straight onto both knees and hands. I landed on soft, spongy grass but the impact jarred my hips. elbows, shoulders, neck...you name it. Next day I felt as though I'd been to the gym.

I'm off now to daydream about men in kilts.......

    Enjoy your Friday.
