  • There are children with sleds outside ... much excitement ... I expect to see them whiz zing past my window on tea trays any minute ... freestyle snowboarding anyone... !?

  • Good morning all!

A busy but happy few days with the new(ish) grandson and family.  Now back home to a white world... a cooking day might well be in order.  And the bird feeders are empty.

Interesting news about the Forum updates.  I was sorry not to be able to participate in the beta testing cos I was in Scotland with limited Internet access - but it looks as if it'll be good.  Not sure what I'll do with my "quiet" week, though... hopefully we'll get some gardening weather!

BL, hope the weather eases in time for your Thursday flight.  -11 is pretty chilly!  It's only -2.5 here.  Vera, our white moggy, blends in with the background when she sits on the windowsill, mesmerised by the snowflakes.

Punkdoc, I'm a believer too.  Thinking of you and Moira.

    Stay warm and safe, everyone!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hosta, wombling is the very height of recycling! Its proving that the object wasn't finished within the first place! I wombled a load of board games from freecycle yesterday, kept operation and mousetrap for myself obviously, gave my friend all the rest, she has six kids and they will keep them squabbling for yonks! image

Joyce it sounds like your getting off fairly lightly so far! The worst for us is due tomorrow apparently, keep warm and safe! X

  • Oh dear! Incident outside ... school parent put his foot down too hard to get up the hill and spun round 90 degrees blocking the road. He couldn't move it cos of other parked cars ... neighbours have been out with shovels, grit and pushing power. All is now well. image

    Fingers are crossed Wonky ((hugs))
