Hello all. My goodness, there's a lot to read back since I was last in here. I hope everyone applying for jobs, having operations, needing sleep or feeling poorly has good fortune this weekend. And that nobody's too cold! It's a lovely sunny day here, but I think we've probably picked the wrong week to try to finally sculpt and line the hole in the ground laughingly referred to as 'the potential pond' (for over 2 years so far). OH is on leave though - if we don't do it this week it'll be delayed AGAIN. Hmmm. Not sure manipulating a liner in sub-zero temperatures is a good idea.
Chicky, did I read you're off to Oz again? Cheeky Chicky!
9 o'clock and I'm still in my purple dressing gown. Coffee has been drunk and kids seen off to respective orchestras, time to get moving.
'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.'
Off to WW in a minute. The Christmas weight was lost quite quickly Obelixx but I've found it difficult to stay on track over the last few weeks. Coming off medication and it's making me feel a bit dodgy, expecting to put on a couple of pounds today, especially after eating my friend's banana cake yesterday.
Lovely and sunny out there but I bet it's freezing.
Fingers crossed on the job front Wonky. ( Any news from Clari? )
I sold a load of Hubby's old vinyl on ebay. I have to say , condition is everything. He had first pressings of Bowie, unplayed ( he bought 2 copies of everything and kept one unplayed) with original posters, inserts etc, but it's all about condition. Collectors only want to pay top dollar if it's perfect.
I sent stuff all over the world. Japan, Australia, Europe , Canada, Argentina. The list goes on and on.
My daughter sent me these photos this morning of the place they're spending the weekend.
She told me when they arrived, the guys said " come and see my garden and my chickens " no mention of let me have your payment and here's the key to your room.
Wow, what a spot Hosta She must be having an amazing time
Beautiful double rainbow Pat and wonderful view.
Good luck with the pond liner LG - remember we want before and after pictures. And yes, I am feeling a bit cheeky, but the thought of missing her 21st got too much for me .
Frosty here too, but am going to get out there once it thaws - I have a jungle that needs taming

We’re saving up our sun for Chicky’s next visit.
The photos are from the front verandah. Glad you like them Dacha and LG.

Hosta....I think it may be a long way down to the beach!
A lovely place for a weekend. I like the light on the canna leaves. It sets off the pic.
Joyce, I liked that too.

Chicky, we " chatted " yesterday and I told her I'm a lot more relaxed now she's actually there , than I was before she left.
