Obelixx, that was a nasty fall.  I hope you don't suffer too many after effects in the morning.

Wonky, interesting finds in the shed.image  Wonder what else will turn up for you to scrutinise. You might end up 'in the money' image.

Ouch, obelixx, that sounds painful. I hope the swelling goes down in the night not up. Sounds a good meal.

OH isn’t back from choir practice yet. It’s tipping with rain, again.

Thanks for the sympathy everyone.  My right knee is looking particularly colourful and fat despite all the arnica gel.   Usually works a treat.   Let's hope it reduces overnight.

Sat on the sofa all evening going through patterns online.  6 new patterns ordered fro me and Possum.  They'll keep me quiet on rainy days.

Very wet here too Busy.  OH is getting a bit fed up but I'm still happy with it.   We've caught up with what we didn't have last year but need some spare for this year.    I hope your OH gets home safely.

Wonky - looks like some interesting stuff in there.   Don't like religious art but that nature study page looks fascinating.

OH is back. The conductor for their concert had come over from England, so it was a long session.

    Wonky, interesting find

Obelixx hope the arnica works, take it easy, I have been married to a golfer since day 1. I don’t play but I make sure I spend the equivilent of the subs in the GC!

Busy always good to know everyone home safe at night.

my excitement of the day was a trip to the mobile boob unit!  Brilliantly efficient, I was out in no time what a saving these units are, saves a trip up to town ?

ouchity ouch Obs. Take it easy.

    Guess who can't sleep, again?

Plus side, I've just " chatted " with No 1 daughter in Cartagena who happened to be online when I switched on.

Isn’t technology wonderful for keeping in touch Hosta - I love being able to catch up with Chicklet on her travels (currently touring New Zealand in a campervan - her Uni term doesn’t start again til end of Feb, so she has been globetrotting all winter).  Good for chats with littlest Chicklet too, even though Bham is not so far away.

Finished my book on the train home last night - can highly recommend Fingers in the Sparkle Jar, for an uplifting, but at the same time quite disturbing read about wildlife and growing up in the seventies with undiagnosed Aspergers.  Not everyone likes Chris Packham as a presenter (I do, but then I’m a mahoosive Monty fan too image)......but its a great book regardless.

    AuntyRach says:

At the marketing meeting, who said "I know the perfect gift - cacti" ?!?! Or have the SMs just put a Valentine sticker on everything?!

    See original post

I think anything that didn't move long enough is declared Valentine's now.

I brought over 100 cupcakes yesterday to deliver to the hospital nurses and teams who support the service I deliver. Add some heart shaped sprinkles and suddenly the normal sugar laden cupcakes are romantic.

OB; how are you feeling this morning? Sounds sore to say the least!

  • Good morning all image  Hope Obelixx isn't too stiff and sore this morning.

All seems quiet and still outside this morning ... just watching the birds flitting to and fro
