  • It did, thanks Joyce.  But you're right.  I haven't done that much shovelling for some time, so I expect the shoulders will be complaining tomorrow.

    Hope your daughter travels safely.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Don't tell anyone Liri but this weekend I started doing exercises to strengthen my arms and shoulders in anticipation of getting in the garden soon and maybe even wielding a paint brush and roller when light levels are better.

Hope yours are OK strafe all the shoveling.   Safe trip for your daughter Joyce.

    Hi all.

Heading north tomorrow for some gastronomy and then on to Edinburgh to watch the rugby.

Hope it gets a bit warmer.

Enjoy Pdoc.  Blow by blow account of that restaurant please assuming it's the one with the long tasting menu we discussed a while ago.

Yes, Punkdoc, want to know all about it.

Obelixx, I have posted on the cut flower question.

Kept meaning to come here then the phone rang or OH called or I was in the wrong room with no internet. Didn't get any notifications today either to remind me.

Had a quiet day, ironing duvet covers in front of the TV, sewing, making bread. Nose still bunged up, still coughing.

Our practice with the unwanted phone calls is to permanently leave the answering machine on. Our kids know to hold on long enough to tell us it’s them and then we pick up. image Does anyone ever say to them that we are pleased to get their calls? Why do they keep doing it?
