Hosta....it's great that you have been able to see that the seeds were viable image

Some nice natural heat there to get them going.

    Lovely photos.

We had a Garden Gallery thread in 2017 for our garden photos. I've started one for 2018.

It's got colder but sunny, so we had a quick walk this afternoon.  Lots of lovely hazel catkins were waving in the breeze...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Pdoc ...know what you mean about winter blues.....more like winter grays here ....we had less than a few hours of sunshine in December and Jan has been just as depressing .......love all your lovely pics ...thank you .On the plus side I have been outside Moscow facilitating an intensive English language session for some young Russian IT entrepreneurs .......it reminds me of the Peter Kay skit ......."Garlic and Bread !" ..........."Paddy and English !" image

Phew!  We've been sifting, sorting and shredding since about 10;30am .... all the parental stuff bagged up and loads of ours dealt with too ...... I've probably shredded some bank statements I should technically have kept but  I've never needed to provide them for anything up until now ......... famous last words?image   But at least there's loads more space in the study image  On top of which I've found a stash of letters from dear old friends back in our college days when they were on placements all over the place ... lovely to read those again ... all tied up neatly into a bundle and put safely in a box of precious things. image

Just had a quick supper of ham, egg and chips and now I'm collapsing on the sofa .... I think we've earned a square or two of chocolate this evening image

Dove....it's quite a relief when the paperwork has all been dealt with.  Finished mine last week as the legal stuff was finalised then. I am now pretty ruthless with what has to be kept and what hasn't.
