Thanks all. Just have to make sure she decides with her head and goes for the EU internship which will be so good for her future CV, contacts experience and not her heart which is a PR job for start-ups sharing office space and other resources while they get themselves established.
Pdoc - sweeping statements or what? In my experience, men need a lot of ego massaging to convince them they can cope with even minor adversity. There you go, I can make sweeping thingies too.

Pdoc, that made me laugh! In my experience OH is great at coping if he's really poorly, but less so if it's just a case of hypochondria.
Chicky, I thought it was well known that not everyone can see fairies... Thanks for the congrats! We were intending to visit our new grandson on Sunday, but it'll have to wait until OH can walk, whenever that is...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Time for bed and there's such a lot of reading back to be done. ... ((Hugs)) to poorly ones, carers, grandparents, parents, holidaymakers and those who like me have been doing the important job of holding the sofa down whilst trying to finish knitting someone a sweater for Christmas.
Oh and GWRS ... Yes Thursford really is in the middle of nowhere, it's displays are marvellous, I love riding on the ancient Gallopers and thd carousel and yes, the Christmas Spectacular is phenomenal !!! Glad you enjoyed it. Robert Wolfe is a legend. We've been watching and listening to him for at least 35 years ...

Looks like an inside day for me. Can’t decide which activity to get involved in. Maybe listen to music while I get my pencils or paints out, definitely not housework. The dust just comes s know again.
Im glad everyone is well, except for those with painful legs etc.
We saw a show on TV recently about the history of American southern music. We really enjoyed it, so Hubby sent for the DVD. Can’t remember what it’s called, but when Hubby gets back from the tip run, I’ll ask him. Some of you might enjoy it.

Welcome back Liri, and many congrats on your new grandson
. Will you get to visit soon? Hope OH is soon on the road to recovery = sounds nasty
The thingies are fairies, Fairy. They are new additions to the emoji library - didn’t realise not everybody can see them
Aunty Rach - R4 don’t get editing rights to the music choices on DiD - you get some very un-R4 stuff on there
Great news for Possum = are both the options in Belgium? Sorry the last few weeks have been stressful for all.
Expecting more rain here Pat - plus the temps have dropped from 36 to 16
. Think we are being gradually acclimatised for coming home

Wow, that was a marathon read back. Mind you it is nearly midday and I’m not long awake. We had a visit from Regina last night until midnight.
rain rain rain here. Everything is very wet outside. It’s not windy, and is just steady, so I’m very happy.
Must get up. Need some brunch.

Catch up later.
23mm in the gauge. Whoopee!

The show was called “American Epic”
Is everyone having a Saturday morning sleep-in? I can hardly criticise, since I didn’t get up until nearly midday today.
Good though.
