I’ve managed to find a map of where those fires are. Also southern France. It all looks bad. Poor people. I feel sorry for them.

We’ve had 27 degrees here today. I think Lilyp was right. We are going straight from winter to summer. My spring blossoms are disappearing.

I hope Liri is Ok. Not sure when she was returning. I wonder how Punkdoc is getting on today. Hopefully, he is safely back in UK.

Morning all - hope everyone is safe - especially Liri and PP.

Nasty damage at Joyce’s daughters - hope the cleanup doesn’t reveal too much broken.  High winds are the scariest thing image.  We had the yellow sky all yesterday afternoon - very, very eerie.

Hope Pdoc gets his plane ✈️, and gets access to treatment very soon......((hugs)) to you and Mrs Pdoc.

Glad you feel a bit better today Pat - anniversaries are very difficult.  Cherish the happy memories as well as the sad.

Morning all. Very high winds here throughout the night but I think we're mostly undamaged. I'm taking the truck to work though; the little Peugeot always feels vulnerable in bad weather (plus being high up you can see the damage across hedges and gardens better!)

Pat I think you've anabfed to get better access to our weather reports than I have!

Good morning all image G'day Pat image

Hope everyone is ok and not too much damage is found out there.

Quite strong gusts of wind overnight here in the East but nothing like what other parts have had to face ... but of course 30 years ago it was us in the southeast who got the worst of it. I hope no one's cut off and without power for as long this time as we were then.

Hope Pdoc is safely home and feeling better ((hugs))

    Morning all.

I drove through Crackington Haven yesterday in the middle of the storm. The Atlantic was the roughest I've ever seen it. The waves were crashing into the cliff so hard the spray was rising vertically almost to the top. Stunning.

Not sure if this link will work.

Imagine the waves and spray almost reaching the top of that cliff. Breathtaking.

I hope everyone is ok, esp Punkdoc and Joyce's daughter and that nobody suffered too much damage.

Did anyone ( Chicky? ) watch the documentary on George Michael last night?image

Morning Hosta image I'll look at that link when I'm up and on my laptop ... Still on my phone at the moment.

The News is saying it's still stormy in Scotland ... Hope Fairy, LilyP, Joyce and others still have their hatches well battened down and their hard hats on ((hugs)).
