Another hug for you Pat. When we feel sad, it's because of love. The sad is worse some days, but the love is strong everyday.
Just done my 'physio' which is a thirty minute walk, half up a hill and half down. The opaque, yellow-grey sky has given way to a blue sunny vista, but the wind is picking up.
I don't have a brilliant view from my house, but a few minutes walk up the street reveals a peep of the mountains and hills to the north.
Hello folks ... hope those in the west are ok ... we're back from the north Norfolk coast ... amazing day, amazing weather 22C plus and brilliant sunshine, warm wind, fantastic visibility for much of the day ... had the car roof down for the first time in ages... now we have yellow skies full of dust. Hopefully the photos are good ... I'll upload some later.
Pdoc ((hugs)) virtual non-contact type you understand ... get well soon.
Past ((hugs)) for you too ... some stuff is very hard to bear isn't it
Rgirl ... friends are over towards Mt Hawke ... bit breezy up there.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Hosta...I totally agree, NO MORE OVERTIME! Who on their deathbed says, "I wish I'd spent more time at work!"? You have better things to do!
Raisingirl, sorry to hear about your dog, Dove told you about my cat, her name was Sorrow, she had a stroke and had her front leg amputated as it was paralyzed, this was quite late in life. She put the leg in the middle and off she hopped! We had 2 sets of stairs in our house that didn't bother her and even though it was a three storey town house, she climbed out the top window and went walking along the ridge of the roof! With your encouragement and support I'm sure friend while gain confidence in their ability! Best wishes to you both! X
Lilyp, sorry to hear about your daughters neighbour issues, most unfair! Hope it all get sorted soon and they find a more welcoming place for all!
Clari, tricky situation, diplomacy will be your best approach!
Dove, looks like a lovely day you had! Blowing fairly out here now!
Have a lovely evening all! My brain can't recall anymore I'm afraid! Best wishes and keep safe and well one and all!

It's a hind leg, Clari. And he's a skinny dog which also helps. But he's 11 years old, so getting on a bit for learning new tricks.
“It's still magic even if you know how it's done.”
