My son and his gorgeous cat have departed this morning, so the house can get back to normal. It was good to have a visit from them, but we like our usual routine of late night viewing and sleeping in. He is the opposite - early to bed and early to rise.
Afteis Pat - and morning to anyone here who's around.
Up to take daughter to work. Hills are all fogbound so not sure I'll get out today. Might try and get to the little hill at Glencoe/Kinlochleven, known as The Pap (for obvious reasons if you see a pic of it) if it lifts.
It's nice that we all support our 'local' food Pat isn't it?
Hope you got a lie in....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lazy day ahead ... Meeting friends for lunch ( the ones who planted all my toms for mw when I broke my foot) ... the only thing I have to do other than that is to fill the pies with jellified stock ... and drink coffee ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
It's the one thing I don't like about making stock for soup - that 'congealed' look. Double
Hope today isn't too bad Hosta. Keep yer chins up love!
It's almost double figures here, so it looks like it might be another day like yesterday. If I don't get out on a hill, I can do more tidying and path edging.

BY the way, Dacha and Fairy, you obviously haven’t tried our Australian lobsters.

Morning all.
3 1/2 hours was all I managed last night and a long day ahead. Let's hope it's not of the 12 1/2 hours I did last Sunday type.
Did you have to mention jellified stock Dove....
