Bumbalong Road leads to the Murrumbidgee River, so I assume that the people with the letter boxes have found properties around the River. The Murrumbidgee flows through Canberra and eventually to the Murray River which is a major river in southern NSW. By the way. The pronunciation of Monaro district is mon-air-row, not mon-are-row ( like the Holden car of that name).
Did any of you see the light show from Halley’s comment tail? We didn’t bother setting the alarm for 4am to have a look.
im so glad to be back in my comfy home. I don’t really enjoy motel rooms very much. My daughter said I’m a typical Cancerarian. (Shakes head).
Love the pics.....we don't even have letter boxes out here in the sticks
I see that Holden has finally folded ......gone the way of the British motor industry sadly .....I drove a BL Princess as a company car back in the late 70s .......Bronze with a vinyl trim roof.....the rep from hell
We’ve woken today to another minus temp after having several days up around the 20s. Luckily I’ve still not got the tomato beds ready for planting out yet. Might have to think of a way to protect the plants if I get enthusiastic and dig and manure.
I had to laugh though. Hubby tried to buy a bag of cow manure last week in Mitre 10, and guess what, , they’d run out. Wouldn’t you think they’d have extra stock for the beginning of the season? Der!
So much for trying to shop local. We could have gone to Bunnings in Canberra, but have done the right thing again.
I’ll try local this week. I might have to use up the old sheep and kangaroo stuff if they still haven’t got any in stock.

The George Michael documentary made my cry on more than one occasion , as did Mimi's death at the end of La Boheme.
Lucy W makes Hubby cross, no idea why. I love her.
( still think it was a wig.
)
Brian shows no signs of leaving.
it did look like a wig but I don’t think it was. It really didn’t move when he tugged one hair out.
We both like Lucy, have her Operwa pwogwamme recorded, also George Michael, I met him when he was a baby.
We are still relaxing on bed, but must make a move soon. I need my cuppa and some breakfast.
Here are a couple of photos from Friday. This is typical of mail boxes on the highway.

Morning Dacha. Sorry if I’ve missed you. As usual, I haven’t checked in because I thought everyone would be asleep.
