Have I mentioned how blown away I am by the photos a telephone can take these days?

Wild edges - your pix are superb. I'am always saying that we don't take the time to look at all the tiny creatures living around us. It should be prescribed on the NHS  ;)
I've been enjoying watching the wasps drinking out the pond. They're little bums wiggle all the time when they do it  :D
Lovely pic Sheps - can't help you with the ID, but I love the little dots of pollen you can see on his legs and body   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

The hover fly I had been stalking in the African Queen.   Taken this morning when I should have been doing something else.

Bees is tricky. Maybe a colletes of some kind going by the stripe pattern?

I saw this lovely one tonight. New to me. Such lovely gold eyes. Happily curled up with two large leopard slugs, chilling together (though the slugs are not in this pic).

Do big frogs eat little frogs? My two pond babies were not around - very unusual. No sign of my toad either. I hope all is well.

Very nice. How big was it? Frogs are pretty omnivorous and if something will fit in their mouth they will try and eat it. Probably not toads though as they have toxic skin. The babies might just be hiding from the big one though or off looking for food themselves.
