    Morning all and afternoon Pat.

Had five hours uninterrupted sleep...bliss image

Dove, pass on best wishes to Wonky and have a good day with her.

Obelixx, pleased to hear you now have some green grass. Hope the rain remembers to stop though. You will now be able to get on with some planting out.

Fairy, where are you heading this weekend?

And glad Obxx made it back safely too .....don't envy you your quiet house image .... hopefully the kittens and pooches will liven things up.  And so pleased you have green grass at last ☔️☔️

Also meant to say, from a few pages ago, well done to LG for taking the plunge into Horticultural certificates ......keep us updated, I'd love to hear how you get on ??✏️?

Visited Dad last night - now on an ordinary ward and making good progress....although its going to be a long haul.

Glad to hear your fathers doing well Chicky ((hugs)) and great to hear everyone else's news too ... green grass, house upgrades etc ... Sounds like everyone's been busy and I'm still catching up after our holiday.

Are Pat and her OH better now?

Morning all/afties Pat if you're there image

Glad Dad is doing ok chicky. A long road yet, as you say.

I'm exhausted reading about Obelixx's hols. I'd definitely need to go to work for a rest...image

Five solid hours is good Joyce. More Mamores this weekend.  I still have two to do, but one is part of the Ring, so I'd really like to go back and do the whole thing, instead of cheating and doing that one by itself. I'm doing the one I could have added last time if I'd done the BInneins the other way round- Na Gruagaichean. Weather's looking reasonable tomorrow. image

So much for four dry days for cutting haylage - rained heavily last night. Looks good now, so hopefully I'll get the grass cut later.

Quick look round before I go. It's Friday though - hurrah!  Have a good day everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all; have I missed Pat of late?

HOSTA: not knowing what causes your issue means you don't know how to treat it. KEEP SHOUTING POLITELY AT YOUR DOCTOR.

Seriously Hosta; I have stomach issues (coeliac / IBS / complications to spinal cord injury / investigating crohns..) and have the massive flare ups that like you leave you screaming in pain and in my case wishing that perhaps it is actually labour pains from a conpletely surprising no signs nor symptoms miracle pregnancy because at least they end eventually and that way no one would mind that you have actually ripped clumps out of your expensive pillow.

Don't let them think it okay for you to carry on suffering behind a shut door.

I can send you a list of the things that help me if you want that good old advice from strangers on the internet x

  • Clari ((hugs))  not sure that Hosta would wish he was pregnant ............ imageimage

  • Good morning everyone and good afternoon and get well soon to Pat,

Hazel, Joyce, thank you so my for your kind messages! Its been very annoying having time for once but the inability to DO anything! And I have been good, I haven't as much as sow a seed! Its been boring but relaxing, and had a major achievement yesterday as the swelling in my hands has reduced so I can finally take off Grandmas ring which had been stuck in place for the past four months! The doctor decided that I have general wear in my hands as well as the carpal tunnel as I have pain in all my fingers thumbs and knuckles, but he decided that the injection wouldn't cause a problem and could hop that too. There is certainly reduced pain and tingling today and I think my little finger is beginning to straighten and look less like a claw!

Thank you all for your kind wishes! X

Hosta! Tell the doctor of every episode and make sure they investigate, before I wrestle you in the catbox and take you to my vets!

Chicky, glad your Dad is recovering well, best wishes to him and you!

Lilyp thank you for the information on Antigua, hubby has a sister that moved back out there when she had enough of England and extended family and relations also. Good to confirm they missed the worst of it. I hope your friends have survived unhurt and intact!

Obelixx, sounds like you have been on quite a road trip! I loved the pictures on the castle thread, thank you for sharing!

Dove, so looking forward to seeing you later! Don't worry, there isn't a garden jobs list!

Oh exciting! I've just won a composted on freecycle! And it looks a good one! I collect Sunday!

    Happy Friday one and all!
