Hi Chicky and Joyce. Just had a phone call from him - packing up at the fireground and heading into Cooma for fuel. So, probably home in an hour and a half.

    Very boring day hereimage

yes Chicky, the weather here is very irritating with its sudden changes. I think it’s more noticeable  on the land than when you live in the cities.

Anyway, thinking about what he’ll want for tea tonight. I’ll probably do lamb chops and vegs. My usual standby. image

    Ha e a good one .

  • No chance of that here Joyce ... We've had rain overnight and showers forecast for the rest of the day. Think it's an indoor day today .

We didn’t get the forecast rain ( no surprises there).

hi Dove. Yes I expect he will be nodding off in front of TV tonight again.

chicky, sorry I always forget to send best wishes for your father. It’s not because I dont care, I just forget a lot of stuff I‘ve read.  It’s because I can add 50 to my 27. ?

  • Morning people got my grass cut yesterday, it was 20d and glorious, but went grey very quickly quite dark, by 6.30, went to isit OH in Hospital came out it was raiing, and obviously had been quite a while, thank goodness I put the mower and the tools away!

  • Huh, used to be a secretary, these keyboards these days, and the electric typewriters when they came out, they cant keep up with my fingers.

  • Morning everyone!  Hi Pat - I guess your OH will now be home, enjoying his well-deserved lamb chops.  image

Glad your dad is making good progress, Chicky.  You must be so relieved!  And what a fab photo from Chicklet!  She's certainly making lifetime memories out there.

The forecast says less than 5% chance of rain all day, so hubby set off to walk to the dentist wearing his fleece.  Of course, it's now looking very threatening... might have to go & meet him with an umbrella...  image
