I watched Cassini, and had a power nap through it, have been following it on you tube.

I had a sofa nap yesterday as well. It's becoming a habit.  Hubby said he could hear my snoring from his study. image I did wake in time for the evening news and an easy dinner - last night's lamb mince patties between bread slices and put into the toasted sandwich maker.  image Lazy, lazy.good though.

i really enjoy the cat and dog stories. I can just imagine the cat's disgust that the gift was snatched  And also, the other cat taking the best warmest seat in the house.

Its really strange to read about you turning your heaters on while we were finding the wood heater a bit much yesterday afternoon. I even opened the doors for a while to even things out. Hubby soon closed them about 5pm when it cooled off very suddenly. Still used the electric blanket to warm things up when we got to bed, though.

    Morning all.

I gave in at 9 and went to bed. I think Hubby watched Liar, so might have to catch up later.

Hi Hosta. 4.30 am?  Still, if you slept from 9, that's pretty good. image

Good morning.   Giddy doggies here.  When OH gets up and lets them out they eat the toothy chew and then go and frolic outside.  For me they do that then come back and have a giddy all over the living room while I try and drink my coffee and watch the news.    They've collapsed in sofa nap heaps now so I'll sort the sofas out later but all the cushions are decidedly askew.

Blue skies above but there's a wall of solid grey cloud to the east, north and west.   Silver linings too but the wall to the east is climbing faster than the sun so it's feeling dark and very still.

Now to think about what to do today while OH is away................

Hope you've all had good sleeps.

    Morning all/afties Pat.

I had a sofa nap last night too - till 2am. Terrible when your child has to wake you up and tell you to go to bed  image image

Lovely looking day here, though not to last I believe. Pity I have to work  image

Enjoying Liar  too - it's six episodes, so not sure how it'll pan out.

Better crack on. Have a lovely day everyone if you can image

  • Hello everyone from the train, on my way to the north east to visit Mum.

Amazing weather here.  2.8C when I left the house shortly before 8, and a thick inversion layer of cloud in the valley.  We've now emerged into bright sun so hopefully it'll soon warm up a bit.  image

Hmm.  I had a sofa nap yesterday afternoon too... Must be something contagious, I think!
