Morning all, was up at 6 (nature called) Hubby just leaving for work, (in bad mood) he didnt even say goodbye. Mind, one of the grankids kids (got them for the week) was really rude to me, and I completely messed up a cake I was mixing, so I told her 6 times to go to her room, she refused, Grandad upped the vocal level some) Yes, she went. Rainsingirl, what sort of dog and what did they have done? Sorry I missed, have looked back a good few pages, I was not allowed to do so much stuff after my op, |(week ago Wednesday) I keep forgetting what I am not allowed to do, then Huby desided to come out in sympathy, and got renal colic. THEN our border Collie Luna got a weird looking growth come up on the side of her mouth, Vet said it had to come off ASAP, it was growing really quickly, following week, was MINE, then Hubby ill, so she had to go the following week, only shorts walks on the lead for 14 days, so I can imagine trying to keep your inactive for so long is going to be really difficult.
Pat, hope you are OK now, and Dove did the "move" finally go ahead? All this talk of rain, been up in the very high tewnties here for some days. 20d overnight, EVEN Hubby was hot, had the fan on max overnight, unheard of, for him!
Good walk yesterday - not long now til the real McCoy. Fairy - yesterday's was a traverse, with both BiLs doing a bit of ferrying ....both my sisters live in Sussex.
Anxiously watching the forecast for Saturday, want it not too hot, gentle breeze and no rain pls
Did you say 10 (ten!!!!!) days good weather Joyce? I'll faint!
It's dry here at the moment but underfoot will be saturated for some time so 10 days would be a-maz-ing!
There was heavy condensation on the windows this morning but the forecast is for a dry day so everything crossed. I need to dry out before I get footroot!
Ten days? What - is that ten days without rain? Really? Great! There are some black clouds out there just now but the forecast does look quite good. I might get the grass cut soon too - it must be a fortnight since I did mine. I won't get too excited yet about the weekend - just in case
Would you like a spray of iodine Ppauper?
Back to work today but I enjoyed my week off.
Glad your traverse was good chicky. Is it a traverse on Saturday? Seeing the car is always a welcome sight! Cool and a breeze will be perfect
I'll have a quick look round before I head off to t'mill. Have a grand day all
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
